There are four kingdoms consisting of three chapters each (Belle's kingdom makes five but since it only consists of one mini-game it doesn't really count), and in each chapter you'll be given a set of tasks to perform, like catching items in a basket or herding animals into a small area. Unfortunately some of these tasks are nothing more than pointless busy-work meant to stretch out the game, and they tend to be quite similar i.e. Enchanted Portals from Xixo Games Studio is a game mostly known for looking like a gigantic Cuphead clone. This makes Enchanted Journey a lot less enchanting, especially as you get towards the end. Nonetheless, a lot of work is going into it, and the studio has been working to make the game more distinct. In the beginning, they planned to launch a Kickstarter for the game, but once it attracted actual publisher support, they decided. This is an issue which is more like a pothole then a bump. Xixo Games had a Enchanted Portals Kickstarter planned, but have now put it on hold. Xixo Games Studio is a two-team Spanish studio that is currently working on Enchanted Portals. Edges are jagged and uneven, and it's obvious that in order to save money the developers sometimes re-use an area or an NPC and just change the skins around. It will be fascinating to see both how much money Enchanted Portals is asking for and if it will garner enough support to hit that number. Just like Cuphead, Enchanted Portals is a 2D, side scrolling, run and gun game with old-school cartoonish graphics. Cuphead fans might thoroughly enjoy having a similar. It does look like a reskinned Cuphead and since the release of the trailer there has been a huge backlash. It also doesn't help that when a character is speaking their mouth tends to arbitrarily move up and down or not move at all.
